A Graphic Design Intern at Concept & Design Inc.
Hi, I'm Malak!
Throughout most of my life, I identified myself as an artist. I painted abstract patterns and forms with oil, acrylic, and watercolor, and sketched. However, I felt a constant itch for typography, posters, and logos. I would sketch new designs with pen and paper but would not take them further because I thought that was the only form it could be in.
During high school, I discovered the world of design and instantly fell in love. The early designs I created were finally brought to digital life. In a lot of my work, I carry that expression and aim to create innovative solutions that inspire and foster memorable relationships between brands and their clients. I have great experience in communication design working at SAIA YORK and YU DIVEST, assisting the organizations in creating posters and announcements in different media for important events taking place on the campus of York University. I also have experience in branding and marketing, in which I have done some freelancing for social media blogs and private businesses designing logos, digital announcements, and prototypes.
